![]() ![]() It does benefit the guild to take the trades you can afford to take - but it'd be more beneficial if you can also encourage other members to invest into each other and take some of those trades.ĭifferent guilds are going to have different issues based on their play style and goals. While I'm not sure when the Observatory came into play, that's the entire point of the game introducing guild treasury GBs from Modern upwards - to remove the strain from the individual given Modern introduced refined goods and the treasury GBs produce refined goods Even before those ages it's still not unreasonable to expect a system to be in place for those in the guild to be able to acquire a Observatory (mandatory 10FPs per week towards a Observatory with those without a Obs putting in slightly more to get the BPs) Requiring a Observatory/Arc/Atom for a Modern or above aged player is not unreasonable. But they are there to guide the guild and set rules where limits are needed. The guild leader isn't meant to be carrying the entire guild. I just wish my guild’s leaders were more on top of it!Ĭlick to expand. I’m not sure what the cut-off age should be, though, as I don’t have any experience with this stuff. ![]() ![]() Lesson learned: Players above a certain rage *must* have an Observatory or Arc if the guild is going to do anything at all with GE. ![]() He never responded to private messages about the need to donate OF goods to the treasury, then became enraged when his name was mentioned in the guild discussion thread for being a deadbeat. Lower-age players had to scramble to get the goods, then he refused to reimburse them (while claiming that he has 10K OF goods). Then GE came around and he went AWOL when it came to attempts to get him to donate the OF goods need to open the levels, though he still managed to complete 35 encounters. No one even noticed that despite having 12 million points, he had neither an Observatory nor an Arc in his city. One of my guilds was all agog because a guy in Oceanic Future joined. It would be nice if guild leaders had a do’s and don’t’s guide. ![]()
